I was born in Europe and have ties to Holland and Austria.  As a toddler, I moved to America and am grateful for the many educational and cultural opportunities this country has given me.

All of my schooling has been in Los Angeles. UCLA was my dream and in 1969, I graduated in Political Science and German. I later earned a Masters of Science degree in Education at USC while teaching school and raising two children. After my third child, I continued by education independently auditing  classes in philosophy, religion, history and music while researching meditation, political science and neuropsychology.

The internet has given me a chance to share my interests. Over the last 15 years, I have created and maintained several websites for friends interested in meditation and world issues.

I  had the privilege of visiting Egypt in 2010 two weeks before the revolution with John Anthony West, the renowned Egyptologis, author and Egyptian symbolist. In 2014, I was the guest of a dear friend and her family for a month's travels in the state of Karnataka, India. These experiences continue to add to the fabric of my life.

As my final decades unfold, I cherish each day and look for ways to make a difference in the lives of my family, friends and readers.
